Maintaining Essential Services
At BC Group International, Inc., there is no higher priority than the health and safety of our employees and community. There is no time more important than now in delivering lifesaving, quality products and services to those in need.
Our customers include many of the nation’s leading hospitals, health organizations, and medical device manufacturers who are critical to our nation’s healthcare system during this time of emergency. Given the Biomedical manufacturing, products and services we provide, BC Group is considered an Essential Business performing Essential Services for our customers.
BC Group remains fully operational and we’re taking several steps to maintain operations while also increasing your and our employees’ safety, including:
- We are monitoring the situation closely and maintaining strict adherence to guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO), US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and local government agencies.
- We are following the CDC and local regulations to keep our employees safe and healthy. We are working diligently to maintain a clean, safe environment for those employees who are here taking orders, calibrating your equipment and shipping products.
- We are taking precautions on equipment received for service and have implemented a quarantine of up to 3 days on packages received based upon current information from the US Government of potential viral contamination. We further request customers shipping or submitting equipment for service to decontaminate the devices prior to submitting them for service.
- Our Field Service team continues to provide Essential Services for our customers. However, due to travel restrictions, facility access and health concerns, these services may be limited or postponed.
We continue to explore ways to protect and support our employees and customers. The safety and well-being of the community is our highest priority. During the conditions caused by COVID-19, we will continue to adapt our processes as the situation evolves. We genuinely appreciate the trust you place in our team and company.

Depot Services
- We are monitoring the situation closely and working diligently to take precautions to keep our field service personnel safe and healthy by maintaining strict adherence to guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO), US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and government agencies.
- We request that our customers properly decontaminate equipment prior to shipping items to our service center. Please follow your organizations procedures for decontamination.
- We are also taking precautions on equipment received for service and have implemented a quarantine of up to 3 days on packages received based upon current information from the US Government of potential surface contamination.
- Equipment received for expedited calibration service (Quickfire) may be delayed due to quarantine. At this time, we cannot guarantee a specific turnaround time. Quickfire items will be processed next on bench after they are released from quarantine.
- Equipment received for service that appear to have visible contamination will be quarantined and returned to the customer in the condition received.
- Requesting customers to decontaminate your equipment prior to returning for service, and
- Quarantining all Service returns for 3 days prior to opening.
We appreciate your understanding as these precautions will delay receipt of your equipment. Our service team is continuing to work diligently to minimize turnaround times while ensuring the health and safety of all.

Field Services
Currently, our Field Service team remains fully operational and we are taking several steps to maintain Field Services while also safeguarding your and our employees’ health and safety, including:
- We are monitoring the situation closely and working diligently to take precautions to keep our field service personnel safe and healthy by maintaining strict adherence to guidelines from the World Health Organization (WHO), US Centers for Disease Control (CDC), and government agencies.
- We request that our customers properly decontaminate equipment prior to submitting them to our field service technicians for service. Decontamination methods may include, quarantining the equipment for 3 days and/or applying proper disinfectant on the equipment. Please follow your organizations procedures for decontamination.
- We request our on-site customers provide a dedicated area for our Field Technicians to perform calibration work to help distance themselves from others.
- We are also taking precautions on equipment received for service and have implemented a quarantine of up to 3 days on packages received based upon current information from the US Government of potential surface contamination. We further request customers shipping or submitting equipment for service to decontaminate the devices prior to submitting them.
In the event our Field Service Technicians are denied access to your facility, an alternative off site location may be necessary, on-site services may be postponed, or equipment may be shipped to our depot facility for service.
