Ultrasound Power Meter target cone support Stem or Arm is bent

Ultrasound Power Meter (UPM) target cone support Stem or Arm is very susceptible to being bent. If the Stem or Arm become bent, the UPM will not read correctly or may indicate an error.

In the event the Stem or Arm become bent, remove and inspect the target cone support Stem and Arm for straightness. If bent, carefully straighten the Stem or Arm as necessary. Place the Stem in the support tube and re-calibrate the unit as outlined in the user manual.
