Pearson Current Transformer calibration

Pearson Current Transformer calibration

Unlike conventional ESU Analyzers the BC Biomedical ESU-2050 Series utilizes an external Pearson Electronics Current Transformer and external precision load resistors for typical Electrosurgical Generator testing.

This methodology has several distinct advantages over conventional ESU Analyzers:

  • Improved accuracy and resolution capabilities
  • 100% manufacturer recommended test load compatibility
  • Smaller and lighter weight instrumentation

Combining the standard and low ranges of the ESU-2050 with the use of either a 0.1:1 or 1:1 ratio current transformer, the user has full control over the ability to obtain high accuracy and high-resolution readings from all types of Electrosurgical Generators.

To ensure your BC Biomedical ESU-2050 Series, ESU Analyzer and external measurement components maintain the highest accuracy, it is vital each component of the measuring system is calibrated on an annual basis. BC Group provides calibrations services, Traceable to NIST for the entire system.
