BC Group Obtains New ISO Certifications
BC Group certified to ISO 13485:2016 and ISO 9001:2015
The new ISO 13485:2016 Standard has a few updates to the ISO 13485:2003 Standard. According to the International Standard for Organization, one of the biggest changes that the new ISO 13485:2016 has is a greater emphasis on risk management and risk-based decision making. There are also changes related to the increased regulatory requirements for organizations in the supply chain.
The International Standard for Organization describes the changes to the new ISO 9001:2015 Standard as an upgrade to a new High-Level structure, making it easier for anyone using multiple management systems. It also places more emphasis on risk-based thinking.
